Christ's Legacy is an Assemblies of God church, but we welcome people from all backgrounds. The Assemblies of God has a four-fold mission statement: to evangelize the lost, worship God, disciple believers, and show compassion. We strive to exemplify this in everything we do.
There are Four Core Beliefs considered as the foundation of the Assemblies of God. These beliefs are as follows:
SALVATION
This truth proclaims God’s victory over sin in our lives. Salvation is the second chances that God gives every one of us through deliverances, healings, and restored lives.
DIVINE HEALING
Jesus ministered with compassion, healing people wherever he went. He still heals today through prayer and faith in God for the outcome.
BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT
This doctrine is our distinctive and explains the passion and power of our witness. We believe baptism in the Holy Spirit is indicated by the initial physical evidence of speaking in tongues.
SECOND COMING
We call this “Our Blessed Hope.” As believers, we must rest in the certainty of the imminent return of our Lord and share this with others.
